VTI Receives 2010 "Best in Test" Award for EX72SF

VTI Instruments Corporation is pleased to announce that it has received Test & Measurement World's 2010 "Best in Test" Award for the EX72SF High Performance Modular Microwave Switching Subsystem.

An ideal broadband test system core, the EX7000 family enables high-integrity signal switching between sources and measurement instruments (e.g. spectrum and network analyzers). This modular product line simplifies the development of custom RF and microwave requirements with its open architecture hardware platform and software-based communications interface, providing the foundation for a common, corporate-wide solution.
The EX72SF high-density microwave switching platform is designed to address applications that demand maximum performance, flexible design options and an operating range up to 40 GHz. Flexible switch building block topologies include SPDT, SP4T, SP6T, transfer switches, a 6-line pass-through adapter and 32-bit TTL I/O bus that can be used to drive external circuitry. The open platform design ensures users can select the manufacture and switch type ideally suited to meet the application requirements.
A built-in web-based graphical user interface (GUI) provides the necessary tools for controlling and monitoring the EX72SF, through local or remote access, simplifying programming and debugging activities. The open platform design software drivers can be used within virtually any application development environment in addition to supporting Windows and Linux operating systems.
