The VT1415A is C-size, single-slot, VXI module, capable of multi-function input/output (data acquisition) with DSP based closed loop control capabilities. As multi function scanning I/O module, it can handle variety of analog input/output and digital input/outputs at a scan rates up to 50,000. In DSP closed loop control mode, the firmware allows a user to employ pre-written PID control algorithms, modify them for specific application needs, or to write an application from scratch. It has been bench marked for 8- parallel loops, update rate 1000/second per loop with simple PID calculations.

The input and output types are configurable by means of signal conditioning plug-ins (SCP). This module can accept a maximum of 8 numbers of SCPs. List of supported SCPs are indicated in the side box. These SCPs can handle static or dynamic signals as defined in their product description. For example, the digital capability of SCP range includes the ability to set or sense static states, to measure input frequency and period, to totalize, and to input or output PWM and FM signals.

VT1415A comes default with a spring terminal block. However you can choose an option for screw terminal block. Both terminal blocks are designed to fit directly on the front end of the card.
