RMA and Calibration Support Services
VTI Instruments offers technical support, repair, calibration, and replacement loaner equipment services to ensure the best performance test systems in the field and the highest level of satisfaction for the end-user. VTI offers flexible levels of urgency in repair and calibration services to ensure any equipment downtime is predictable and controlled. Applications engineers with years-to-decades of industry experience staff technical support centers spread throughout the U.S., Europe, China and India, meeting the demand for system support in local languages. Our global applications engineering network is available Monday through Friday, 24 hours-a-day for immediate requests. For all non-urgent requests, applications engineers respond within 24 hours. Calibration and repair facilities are located in California, Italy, and China to provide global coverage, quick turn-around, and low logistics cost for post-sales maintenance services.
The standard diagnostics and repair process consists of contacting a local authorized support center and discussing the problem with a technical support engineer. The support engineer will remotely troubleshoot the problem if possible and will issue an RMA (return material authorization) number if the unit requires repair at an authorized support center. Flat fee repair prices apply to units with expired warranties. Extended warranty service options are available at time of product purchase.
Should your equipment require calibration or repair at a VTI facility, an RMA Request form can be completed and submitted to firstname.lastname@example.org. From here, a Customer Service Representative will process your request and respond to you promptly to complete the return authorization process.
