VTI Instruments offers a broad array of VXI slot 0 interfaces and controllers.
The VXIbus platform has exhibited amazing versatility in its 20+ year history through
its ability to adapt to the evolution of communication interfaces.
Beginning with GPIB and continuing with USB, Firewire and now gigabit Ethernet (LXI),
the VXIbus platform provides the most flexible options for remote control of mainframe-based
systems.
The key to its success is the ability to maintain software compatibility, regardless
of the slot 0 interface of choice, through the use of the industry standard VISA
API.
Older interfaces can be replaced with newer modules without
any significant code modifications, offering the benefits of new technology while
preserving initial development investment.
