SVM Series
High Density Switch/Measure and Control Systems.
The SVM Series of switch/measure instrumentation leverages VTI Instruments innovative
approach of high-density modules our VXI and LXI platform products, but is optimized
for the VMEbus.
All SVM switch modules are designed to provide the features of hardware-based intelligent
switching systems, rather than in a driver or via on-board microprocessor based
firmware. This approach to the interface design considerably reduces software programming
overhead.
All modules are conformally coated to allow them to be used in harsh environmental
settings typically found in the field. The SVM series design approach also allows
virtually any of VTI’s modular products to be migrated into VME very quickly and
cost effectively. Consult our factory for alternative configurations.
