  The EMX-4380 "Smart" 4-channel dynamic signal analyzer and digitizer is the only single module that supports Charge, IEPE, or differential - voltage input types with the unmatched flexibility to support all piezo transducers.   Rugged PXI Express Chassis for In-Vehicle Testing  
  VTI's CMX09 is the most compact, 9-slot PXI Express chassis in the market, designed for industrial, bench and rack applications. With the shock-mount option added it's also the most rugged. This option is designed for use with a wide range of vibration isolators and shock absorption bolts which can allow the chassis to operate in extremely high vibration environments such as in the vicinity of aircrafts, or in-vehicle. It was designed to meet MIL-PRF-28800F Class 1 specifications for shock, which is the most stringent MIL standard specification for test equipment.

  BACKGROUND
Analyzing how active controls using an external energy source can be used to optimize boundary layer energy levels and flow separation to create more efficient airfoil design. USC selected VTI's EX1629 strain measurement unit, and EX1200-3608, 8-channel arbitrary waveform generator to perform the testing.
 
  SOLUTION
Using synchronized, precision acoustic excitation driven by VTI's EX1200-3608, and high-accuracy lift, drag and pitching moment measurements using the EX1629, USC was able to study the effect of localized acoustic excitation on the performance of the wing.
 
 
 
  "VTI's EX1629 with built in signal conditioning, excitation, and self-calibration capabilities offered the high-accuracy measurement capabilities that we required for our study. The Ethernet based instruments were easy to use and synchronized and simplified our test setup efforts.   VTI continues its expansion in India by adding "offset" capability for defense contracts  
  VTI Instruments Bangalore recently moved to a larger state of the art facility in the center of Bangalore to accommodate the growing number of test system contracts, including support for prime contractors that require "offset" credit solutions. The team consists of engineers for system integration, product development, and after sales support. Through this division, we have successfully completed test-system integration projects for organizations such as HAL and LPSC, and we're leveraging the capabilities we've built to provide offset solutions and services in accordance to the Indian offset policy. This has made us a very attractive partner for foreign aerospace and defense companies doing business in India.
