VTI Instruments
Quality

VTI Instruments understands the importance of reliability and maintainability to its customers. To ensure the consistent delivery of high-quality products, VTI employs a quality management system that covers all important processes, ranging from product conception and procurement to design and development.

ISO 9001:2008 Certified

By maintaining a BS EN ISO 9001:2008 certification, VTI Instruments reasserts its commitment to the quality policy: "We will meet or exceed our customer’s expectations by continuously improving our processes, products, and services." All employees provide exceptional customer service to both our internal (coworkers) and external (integrators and end users) customers.

Whether maintaining workstations, defining products, performing design reviews, or releasing products to manufacturing, VTI ensures that the key factors affecting product quality are considered during the design and manufacturing process. This is accomplished by maintaining records of these actions and auditing the processes that govern them to ensure conformance.

The policies and procedures set forth in our Quality Management System help harmonize individual departments to provide a unified mindset. This allows us to efficiently and accurately fulfill the requirements and needs of our customers.

Best-of-Class Industry Suppliers

VTI has optimized supply chain management to encompass the whole production process from design to manufacture, and from early supplier involvement to end-of-life planning. Our procurement professionals continuously assess and refine our supplier base by establishing long-term relationships with companies that share our commitment to excellence.

We insist that only suppliers with the resources, infrastructure and business systems to support continuous improvement can service VTI in partnering with our customers. We work closely with our customers' commodity and purchasing management groups, recognizing that often our supplier is also theirs.

Our strong industry commitment combined with close relationships with the leading manufacturers of best-in-class components brings VTI customers the most cost-effective and comprehensive solutions available in the marketplace today.

RoHS Statement

In 2004, the European Union passed EU Directive 2002/95/EC, commonly referred to as the Restrictions on the user of certain Hazardous Substances directive or RoHS. As a manufacturer of automated test equipment, VTI products are Category 9 monitoring and control instruments, which are exempt from the RoHS directive. Notwithstanding the exemption, VTI recognizes the importance of this directive and is transitioning toward RoHS-compliance as more reliable lead-free technologies become available. We will continue to work with our suppliers in order to develop products that deliver reliable performance while making a minimal impact on the environment.
