Two decades ago, VTI began operating as a business focused on custom engineering and quickly transitioned to a company with over 200 standard products.

We employ an innovative, modular approach to our product designs that often allows us to quickly make customer-requested modifications that address specific application requirements. These ‘custom’ products are then documented and supported just like our standard products. This relieves our customers of the burden of managing a custom development project and the associated long-term support issues, while helping them optimize their size and overall cost.

System-Level Experience

Our application engineering team has years of experience in integrating a wide range of instrumentation products into larger test systems. We work with customers during the project definition phase to help architect solutions that best meet the application requirements. Our expert knowledge of industry standards, such as LXI, VXI, IVI and VME, at the hardware and software level has helped test developers reduce the time to ‘system readiness’ in the following applications:

Custom RF/Microwave Interface Integration

VTI Instruments specializes in the design and manufacture of open architecture solutions for custom microwave subsystems and broadband RF switching. As pioneers in the development of the first miniature microwave relay, VTI leverages our design engineers’ 30+ years of individual experience along with state-of-the-art test and analysis tools to offer the combined benefits of a custom engineering group and a worldwide service and support infrastructure.

All partners in our Endorsed Solutions Provider (ESP) Program have extensive knowledge and experience integrating VTI products.
